Carolynís passion and joy
is healing and teaching with sensitivity and acceptance of each personís
uniqueness. A deeply intuitive and compassionate graduate of the Barbara
Brennan School of Healingís 4-year Brennan Healing Science Practitioner
program and its 2-year Advanced Studies in Education program, she is a
qualified teacher and a Certified Fundamentals of Brennan Healing Science
Workshop Leader. She has presented workshops on Brennan Healing Science in
the United State, Europe and Asia.
Before moving to the Hudson Valley in 1999, she lived and worked in Europe and Asia as well as the US and traveling in over 40 countries. This honed her deep respect for individual uniqueness and cultural distinctions. While living in Taiwan from early 1988 to late 1999 she learned Mandarin Chinese and from 1997 through 1999 taught Chan (Zen) meditation at Nung Chan Monastery, part of the Dharma Drum Mountain Buddhist organization. From late 1999 to late 2001 she was Director of Fundraising and Program Development at the Dharma Drum Retreat Center in Pine, Bush N.Y. and currently teaches introduction to Chan (Zen) meditation.
She is continuing studies in Chi Gong and Tai Chi and in plant medicine.
in the International Academy of Law and Mental Health and the
international movement for therapeutic jurisprudence. Her mediation
practice includes international cross cultural mediation. With a JD from
the University of Michigan and an LL.M. from the University of Brussels,
Belgium, her commitment to healing and peace is reflected in her
participation from 1999-2006 on the board of the International Alliance of
Holistic Lawyers and currently in the Project of Integrating Spirituality,
Law and Politics.
